Honorcrest Institute is committed to providing a transparent and fair refund policy for all our students and clients. This document outlines the terms, conditions, and procedures for refunds. By enrolling in our programs or purchasing our services, you agree to the terms detailed herein.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on several factors, including the nature of the service, timing of the request, and circumstances surrounding the request.

  • Course Cancellation by Honorcrest Institute: If we cancel a course or program for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the fees paid.
  • Withdrawal Before Course Start Date:
    • If you withdraw at least 14 days before the start date of the course, you are eligible for a full refund minus a processing fee of $50.
    • If you withdraw less than 14 days but at least 7 days before the course start date, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the fees paid.
    • Withdrawals made less than 7 days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund.
  • Exceptional Circumstances: Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies or other unforeseeable events) at the sole discretion of the institute. Documentation supporting your claim will be required.

Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Registration fees
  • Administrative processing fees
  • Fees for completed modules, programs, or services already delivered

Refund Process

The following outlines the steps to request and process refunds:

  1. Submitting a Request: Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to refunds@honorcrestinstitute.ca. Include your full name, course name, enrollment details, reason for requesting a refund, and any supporting documentation.
  2. Review and Response: Refund requests are reviewed within 10 business days of submission. You will be notified via email of the decision, along with any additional actions required.
  3. Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method as the original transaction. In cases where this is not possible, alternate arrangements will be made.

Appeals

If your refund request is denied and you believe it was unjust, you may file an appeal by contacting appeals@honorcrestinstitute.ca. Appeals will be reviewed by a senior panel, and a decision will be communicated within 14 business days.
